Send Maintenance Broadcasts
Maintenance Announcer broadcasts a message to every player on the server to tell them that you've started or ended maintenance. This guide will tell you how to broadcast a message to the players that maintenance has started or ended.
If you're using Maintenance Announcer v5.0 or later:
Commands to Broadcast Maintenance:
/maintenance start or /maintenance begin
This will broadcast a message to everyone on the server that the server is now undergoing maintenance.
/maintenance end or /maintenance stop
This will broadcast a message to everyone on the server that the server is no longer undergoing maintenance.
Note: /maintenance begin & /maintenance stop only works on Maintenance Announcer v3.0 or later.
Permissions Needed to Use Commands:
You will need to be a server operator or higher.
If the server is using a permissions system/manager, you'll need to add this permission to your user or rank:
Use these permissions if you're using Maintenance Announcer v5.0 or later:
For starting maintenance: hjw.maintenanceannouncer.start
For ending maintenance: hjw.maintenanceannouncer.end
Use these permissions if you're using Maintenance Announcer v4.0 - v2.0:
For starting maintenance: gamercraftbros.maintenanceannouncer.start
For ending maintenance: gamercraftbros.maintenanceannouncer.end
Note: Maintenance Announcer requires you to have these permissions to broadcast a message, but everyone on the server will see the broadcast.
If you're using Maintenance Announcer v1.1.5 or earlier:
Commands to Broadcast Maintenance:
/maintenancestart
This will broadcast a message to everyone on the server that the server is now undergoing maintenance.
/maintenanceend
This will broadcast a message to everyone on the server that the server is no longer undergoing maintenance.
